Sometimes in life things get too busy.  And when they do, I start weeding through what’s important and what can wait.  For the past 7 months, this blog has been in the “it can wait” category.  It started with the influx of fall & winter sessions.  For family portraits, it’s my busiest time of year, and being pregnant added a mix to it that was a little bit tougher than I imagined.  So instead of killing myself to try and do everything, I focused on what was important– getting clients their photos.  Then in January I welcomed my beautiful little girl into the world and subsequently went into a hiding place for months.  It was a wonderful time, but now I’m back in the saddle full swing!

Weddings have quickly become one of my biggest passions, but my normal second shooter lives in North Carolina and obviously can’t assist any more since I moved to Virginia.  So I spent the past year training up a new one… one that has a very keen eye for artistic shots.  I have to say, for his first wedding, we are both extremely pleased with the results!  Here’s a sneak peek from both our cameras- enjoy!
