This wedding has been a huge hit with pretty much everyone!  Make sure to check out all the cool details here.  Even if you’re not a Doctor Who fan, you can’t help but smile when you see this family together.  There is so much joy, it’s contagious!  Leila, the bride, has a tattoo on her chest that reads “The life I live is the life I choose” and I absolutely love it.  They’ve experienced great joy & great heartbreak, and through it all, they choose joy.When Leila first started telling me about their wedding, I got very excited.  Some things would be traditional, others would be wildly different– like a blue wedding dress!  I love her tattoos, her bright smile, her fiery red hair, Scott’s laugh and the way he looks at her– crazy in love.  Their funky shoes, off-beat wedding rings, and general sense of style are just fun.

The ceremony & reception were both at the Fred Heutte Center in Norfolk, VA.  I had no idea it had a second floor!  Definitely a great place for a smaller guest list.
