The 2014 End of Year Contest is under way!  All the images are posted on our Facebook page and all votes will be counted through Facebook so head on over there to choose your favorite!

How are the winners chosen?  Votes will be tallied by ‘likes’ and comments on each picture. You get one vote for each ‘like’ and one vote for each personal comment*, but it only counts for one comment per person. Feel free to comment more (it’ll show up in your friend’s newsfeeds more often!) but just know only the first comment from each person will count towards your votes.
*What’s a personal comment? “I love this picture!” “You guys are so cute together.” “What a beautiful family.” Anything that’s positive and not “vote” or “like” sort of thing. I know it’s picky, but let’s all admit that it’s kind of annoying to see. Instead, how about a picture of you on your newsfeed with all sorts of positive comments from friends? That’ll make you smile… and that’s what we’re all about here at Fowler Studios! Just ask your friends to like the picture and comment on why they like the picture, etc.

Do shares count?  We’d love for you to share your photo on Facebook to get more likes and comments!  However, in order to keep everything uniform, only the likes and comments directly on our picture will be counted, so make sure your friends know to comment on the actual picture!

Any tips on how to win? Yes! Tag yourself in the picture! Tag your family (Mom & Dad’s friends love to see how you’re doing in life!). Share your photo– let them know you really want to win the canvas/photo session and would love their help!

How do the prizes work? There are three prizes: a 16×20 photo canvas, a full session (digital files included!), and a mini session (digital files included!). First place will get to choose which one they want. Second place then chooses, and then third place gets the final prize. If you choose the canvas, it does NOT have to be the picture that you chose for the contest, but does have to be a photo from your session or wedding with Fowler Studios. You’ll have 30 days to pick out which photo you would like on the canvas or you lose it (don’t do that– losing it would be silly!). For the sessions, they expire on April 30, 2015. They are transferable if you’d like to give them as a gift, but still keep the same expiration date.

Voting will begin on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 and last until 9pm on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 9pm.
