We share a best friend and her wedding is on my birthday, so before I ever met Kim I knew I’d love her… and sure enough– I do!  Kim + Brad are a-d-o-r-a-b-l-e together- they’re sweet, make each other laugh, and by the end of the session I felt like we were old friends.

In planning for their session, Kim emailed me about what to wear (and what not to wear!).  It’s such a hard question because there are so many correct answers.  In my imaginary spare time I’m planning on putting a guide together about how to choose outfits.  Yeah.  Right after I clean my office and decorate my house.  😉  But the number one thing it boils down to is this: wear something you feel fabulous in.  If you feel truly amazing in an outfit, that’s what will shine through in photos.  I have a feeling Kim looks amazing in anything she wears, but what makes her feel downright fabulous?  That makes all the difference!

We chose three locations– two were super quick and they were all really close together so it worked well.  She adores cats, so we had to grab a few great shots in her backyard with one!  Then we headed to the local ice cream shop where she first heard about this guy Brad… and then to the spot where they’re getting married!  And it is so perfect that Sunny Slope Farm has a fantastic view of Massanutten where they love to ski.
