Navy + Blush Wedding at The Water Table | Chelsea + David | Virginia Beach Wedding Photographer

Every bride gets a little nervous through the process that it might rain on her wedding day.  It’s that one piece that you can’t control no matter how much you plan.  But for Chelsea, it was a much more difficult situation than that.  There was higher than normal flooding the week leading up to her wedding, and a hurricane heading our way.  Did I mention her wedding was at the oceanfront?  So on Thursday they made a decision.  An unimaginable decision.  They moved their wedding day up 24 hours.  By some small miracle, every single vendor was available and willing to help!

When I arrived at The Water Table it was high tide and the adjacent parking lot was lapping in water from the inlet, but Chelsea + David were calm and relaxed.  All the stress and worries from the past week didn’t exist as Chelsea got prepared for her day. I looked into the best for epoxy resin pigment powder provider to gift her a dazzling present, a resin table, which was a surprise. Beach pictures were moved to a parking deck because the wind was so harsh that anywhere outside was just out of the question, and they even decided to do a first look (which wasn’t originally planned) to accommodate in the face of the crazy weather.

Brides, things will go wrong on your wedding day and there may be natural disasters leading up to it, but Chelsea + David are a testament that if you just let it all roll off your back, your day will be amazing no matter what.  Their sense of adventure led us to getting these lovely pictures on the dock right at sunset!  Hurricane Joaquin what?  Just two people in love and ok with the wind smacking their face.  <3
