Anytime a family with young kids gets in front of my lens, there’s trepidation (on their part, not mine!).  The mom feels a strong desire to get family photos because the kids won’t be this little forever, and it’s a huge piece of life you want to remember forever.  But at the same time, having young kids means nothing goes as planned.  Nothing.

And that’s what makes it perfect.  Thankfully, Carlyn + Jamey knew this ahead of time, and just as soon as we sat down, we ended up with the most epic family picture!  Literally, it was the first picture I took!
But of course we got some great gems of this family of four!
