Kelly + Nick have been dating for 6 years– since 10th grade!  They are so sweet, and despite really looking forward to their engagement photos, they were so kind to let me reschedule after I hurt my back really bad a few weeks ago– I couldn’t even stand up the day of their original session!

Last week we met up at Fort Monroe.  The weather was dicey and lightning storms were off in the distance but we had the most magical light, and their chemistry is incredible!  Also?  Those colors!  I love their style.  I absolutely can’t wait for their wedding next year.  I’ve already gotten to know both of their moms and feel like a part of the family!  Both families have ties to adoption and they are all so encouraging in our adoption!  Enjoy these photos– it was hard to choose my favorites for the blog post.  🙂
