Bridal portraits are fun and challenging! They’re fun because, hello, you have a gorgeous bride in front of you and a full hour to take portraits of just her!! Challenging because… well, she is your only subject, and she’s wearing a dress that is very important to her… and you have to make sure to not get it dirty! This session sets the tone for her wedding pictures, too! She gets a chance to see how amazing she looks in her dress for photos before the big day.
Tina also used this as a chance to have her hair and make-up trial, as well as a bouquet trial. She made minor tweaks between the bridal session and the wedding, and somehow her wedding bouquet was even more beautiful than this one (which I’m totally crushing on).
And sometimes it feels like no session is complete without a chance of rain. It rained before this session, which is especially nerve-wrecking when you have a bridal gown! We had some plastic dropcloth and found some dry places to shoot… and it was all perfection! Tina’s mom came as well to help with everything which was really helpful. A mom or close friend to come along with you, tell you you’re beautiful, and carry all your stuff makes the session perfect!
