I can’t tell you how much I love this couple! Ryanne + Rob are sweet and kind, and love each other fiercely. They have this fun spirit about them and you can’t help but smile when you’re near them. So when Hurricane Matthew tried his best to thwart their wedding day, I was seriously bummed! They tied the knot at Trinity United Methodist Church in Poquoson, with plans for their reception to be at Poquoson Yacht Club. But with the impending hurricane and Poquoson being prime flooding territory they had no choice but to move the ceremony up a few hours and move the reception to higher ground. I was crushed for them, but knew it was the right choice.
Despite the crazy weather (and it was crazy!), the atmosphere was fun and light. Ryanne laughed with her daughters and family while getting ready, totally calm and relaxed. After the ceremony we found a great little covered entryway for photos! We had to keep moving around a bit because… the rain was pouring in! But again, Ryanne + Rob were fine with everything and it didn’t bother them one bit. I love that! Their three daughters were the same way- even their infant was calm and happy the whole day. I think it really shows their future together and it warms my heart.
I also love the fun details from the wedding day! Their wedding cake had their own faces on bobble heads as the cake topper! Ryanne’s shoes were too perfect, and that dress… it looks like it was made with Ryanne in mind.
