I’m going to be bold and tell you this was our very first Indian wedding. We’ve done Jewish weddings before, but have certainly never mixed the two. There were SO many differences from our typical wedding day, we made sure to go the extra mile and familiarize ourselves with all the customs and traditions that we had coming our way. It was so much fun to learn about each tradition and the meaning behind it! We had a blast learning, and preparation was certainly the key to success! If you want to learn a little bit more about those traditions, check out our blog post here.
The thing we love the most about doing weddings where both our photo and video teams are involved are the seamless results we get when it’s all done. We are so intimately familiar with each side, that we know when to step back and let the other team get close in, and vice versa. It really runs smoothly! When people ask us if we do photo + video separate, or only together, the short answer is either! But the truth is, when you have one company doing both, you can’t compete with how seamless things are, and the consistency of the end product.
Alex and Shaoli were not only amazing to work with, but had some of the most hospitable family and friends we’d ever been around. Their video is full of color, love, raw emotion, and some of the coolest traditions we have ever been privileged to be a part of. We hope you enjoy it!
