When extended family comes in town, it’s the perfect time to schedule a photo session!  Rachel reached out for a session around graduation time.  We did a family session with her family, and some extended family pictures as well (scroll to the end of the post for those!).  The one thing they told me was they weren’t big on big teethy smiles for pictures, so I let them do their thing.  There were some smiles, and there were some pictures without– and that’s okay.  My goal is for them to have family pictures that represent them!  So sure, I squeezed a few smiles out through tickling or asking them to tell each other inside jokes.  But for the most part, I just let them be them, and celebrated that!
