Sometimes the best laid plans go awry.  I’d searched for the perfect place to do these headshots, sent a map to Leah, and given her directions.  One hour before the session, my husband called to say that we needed to take our car to the shop immediately.  That meant sharing a car– and he had doctor appointment 30 minutes away!  Thankfully, we’re both pretty good at rearranging schedules at the last minute, and the doctor appointment was not far from Leah’s house.  And it was right next to a perfect field that I’ve been shooting at since I first moved here three years ago.  I love it when things work out perfectly!

I love the dead of winter mixed with the newness of spring here.  A lot of bare trees, but also some cherry blossoms blooming and a little green peeking through!
