When we first moved here six years ago, Julia’s family took us in as their own.  It’s what they do– if you know them, you are family, and we have spent many a holiday at her grandparents house!  At one of those holiday events, Julia’s mom whispered to me that she wanted to know about our wedding packages because although Julia didn’t know it yet, there was a proposal on the horizon.  Ahhhh I just love excitement like that!

And if you know Alex + Julia, you know that they are both incredibly creative and talented in many ways.  They’re fun and spunky and totally head over heels for each other.  Virginia Living Museum was the perfect location for their wedding– classy and up close with nature!  They got married in front of a waterfall with Julia wearing a mermaid wedding gown, and during their reception, volunteers from the Living Museum walked around with a snake, owl, and baby alligator!

If Julia looks familiar, it’s because she’s been the hair and makeup artist at Katie, Kayla, and Danielle’s weddings!
