Kaitlin’s father/daughter dance wasn’t a dance at all.  Instead, her father played guitar while she sang to James, her groom.  The room was perfectly quiet except for her voice and the strum of the guitar.  The look on James’ face was priceless.  Complete love, shock, and admiration.  The look of ‘I can’t believe I get to be her husband.’

The rest of the wedding was pretty much the same– two people totally in love, and enjoying each moment with their friends and family.  The Mill at Fine Creek is all in one location, so in between hair and make-up, Kaitlin could go downstairs and put the finishing touches on the reception decor.

And the dress!  Kaitlin’s wedding dress was made from her mother’s wedding dress.  And her wedding date and her parent’s wedding date were sewn into the lining of the dress.  Like every wedding this year, it was calling for rain, but thankfully it held off for the ceremony and half of portraits.  When it counted, we were able to be outside and make use of the stunning surroundings.  Those rocks are just perfection!
